Trish Leonard is the Senior Vice President of Housing Management Resources and is responsible for overseeing the operations of over 7,000 units of affordable housing in 11 states. Previously, she was the Regional Director of Property Management for the Community Builders, Inc., responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region and the oversight 4,200 units of affordable and mixed-income housing. She has also provided consulting and brokerage services through Sage Real Estate for a wide variety of clients. In 2015, she was named IREM Boston’s Professional Woman of the Year in recognition of her significant and outstanding commitment to the advancement of women in the real estate industry and her contributions to IREM. She has worked with Housing Authorities on 12 HOPE VI communities and trained several non-profits and tenant organizations to develop their capacities for asset and property management. Her commitment to this work is evidenced by her volunteer work in the Pioneer Valley, where she works to develop and promote affordable sober housing options.

Trish is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey. She holds a Certified Property Manager designation from IREM, Certified Occupancy Specialist designation from NCHM, C19P LIHTC Certification from Spectrum, NAHP-Executive and SCHM designations from the National Affordable Housing Management Association and Public Housing Specialist from Nan McKay. During her 35 years in the property management field, Trish has been responsible for properties and portfolios primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and has experience managing a full range of low- and mixed-income housing communities both large and small, urban and rural, including apartments and townhouses and housing for families and seniors. Her vast experience, ranging from on-site management to the executive oversight of operations, as well as her abiding commitment to the education of fellow real estate and property management professionals and the improvement of quality-of-life and increased access to important resources for residents, have proven invaluable in her leadership at both Housing Management Resources, Inc., and Sage Housing, Inc.

Richard C. Pierce is the President and Founder of Sage Housing, Inc. Mr. Pierce brings more than 30 years’ experience in property development, management, financing, permitting and non- profit management. He is primarily responsible for new business development and dispositions.

Mr. Pierce is also President and Founder of Housing Management Resources, Inc., a nationwide property management company specializing in affordable housing.

Mr. Pierce serves on the Board of the Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation; the Board of the National Leased Housing Association and is a member of the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association.

Mr. Pierce serves on the Board of Acadia Housing, Inc., a non-profit provider of affordable housing with unding provided by the Rural Development Program.

Mr. Pierce is an attorney and has formerly served within the federal, state and local governments.
